  1. Hello, I just purchased a 1944 CCKW 353 that was used on a property in Polk FL. The owner stated it was used when his grandkids came to town, but has been sitting a very long time. He owned it at least 19 years, the prior owner used it on his farm for misc and I have no history from him yet. The truck which we plan to do a proper restore on it needs a ton of work and the engine turns over fine, but the question I have is that all the identification and vin plates are all in german and French, everything. Any information would be great and a good source for parts as well. Thank you.
